Perfectly LinkedIn Sync (Chrome extension)

Perfectly AI Inc. ("Perfectly", "we", "us") operates the Perfectly LinkedIn Sync browser extension (the "Extension"). This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, why, and how we handle it.

The Extension has a single purpose: to connect your own LinkedIn account to your Perfectly workspace so that Perfectly can manage your LinkedIn outreach on your behalf. It does this by securely syncing your active LinkedIn browser session to Perfectly.

1. Data we access and collect

• LinkedIn session cookies. The Extension reads your LinkedIn authentication cookies (li_at, and li_a for LinkedIn Recruiter sessions) from your browser. These let Perfectly act on LinkedIn using your existing logged-in session.
• Browser user agent. The Extension reads your browser's user agent string so the LinkedIn session is presented consistently.
• Google account information. When you sign in, we receive your Google account email address, name, and account identifier to authenticate you to your Perfectly account.
• Perfectly session token. After sign-in, the Extension stores a Perfectly session token locally in your browser to keep you connected.

The Extension does not read your browsing history, the content of web pages you visit, your keystrokes, or any LinkedIn data beyond the session cookies described above.

2. How we use the data

We use this information solely to:

• Authenticate you to your Perfectly account.
• Connect and keep your LinkedIn account linked to your Perfectly workspace.
• Detect when your LinkedIn session has changed or expired so the connection can be refreshed.

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to data brokers.

3. How data is stored and transmitted

• Transmission. All data is sent to Perfectly's servers over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Local storage. Your Perfectly session token and a non-reversible fingerprint (a hash) of your LinkedIn session are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage. The Extension does not keep a copy of your raw LinkedIn cookies after they are synced.
• Server storage. Your LinkedIn session is stored by Perfectly and our integration provider to maintain the connection (see Third parties).

4. Third parties

We share data only with service providers that make the core feature work:

• Unipile. Perfectly uses Unipile to maintain the LinkedIn connection. Your LinkedIn session is provided to Unipile for this purpose.
• Google / Firebase. We use Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to verify your identity.

These providers process the data on our behalf to deliver the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Perfectly LinkedIn Sync's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data retention

We retain your LinkedIn session and account connection for as long as your LinkedIn account is connected to Perfectly. When you sign out, disconnect LinkedIn, or uninstall the Extension, the associated session is revoked and removed (see Your choices).

6. Your choices

• Sign out. Signing out from the Extension revokes its Perfectly session token on our servers.
• Disconnect. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time from your Perfectly workspace, which removes the stored session.
• Uninstall. Removing the Extension stops all access to your browser cookies and clears its local storage.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for all transmissions and standard access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we protect your information using commercially reasonable safeguards.

8. Children

The Extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
